The most important thing that we do as a church is worship God. We worship Him in many different ways and most often it's not on this campus. The day-to-day way that we worship is by being obedient to Christ's commands and enjoying Him more and more as we look forward to His return.  

Our church's "purpose" is to worship God. John Piper once wrote, "Worship is ultimate, not missions, because God is ultimate, not man."(1) Our primary purpose is to glorify God by enjoying Him forever, and as we know God more and more, our enjoyment of Him and our longing for heaven grows and grows.  

Gathered worship is something we do several times a week. We don't always sing, but when we do, we sing a mixture of new and traditional songs, because our church is made up of many different generations, like the church has always been.  

That means that there will be songs you like and songs you don't. That's because worship is not about us, but about God. We seek to use our worship services as a means to serve one another by submitting our own preferences for the preferences of others, which brings honor and glory to the One who brings us together: Christ.  

If you are a follower of Christ and you don't have a church, we encourage you to join us. If you are interested in finding out more about what it means to follow Christ, we are open for questions. We don't have it all together, no one does. However, we know the One who does, and He is the One worthy of all our worship.
